Automotive steel refers to a category of specialized steel materials tailored for the manufacturing of automobile bodies, chassis, engine components, and other key parts. It is a core material that balances lightweight design, structural safety, and cost efficiency in the automotive industry, with diverse types and performance characteristics to meet different application requirements.

Core Performance Requirements

High Strength & Toughness

It must withstand collision impacts, dynamic loads during driving, and external extrusion to protect the passenger compartment structure. High-strength automotive steel can maintain structural integrity in accidents, reducing deformation and improving safety.
